HOUSEKEEPING COORDINATOR

 JOB TITLE:                Housekeeping Coordinator 

REPORTS TO:          Housekeeping Manager/ Housekeeping Supervisor

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in screening applicants for the Director.
  2. Ensures service for guests and associates are professional, courteous.
  3. Completes weekly schedules. Also, monitors fluctuations in occupancy so that schedules may be adjusted.
  4. Breakout and maintain daily assignments & quotas for housekeepers.
  5. Establishes safe working conditions and practices.
  6. Participate in inventories of uniforms, linens etc.
  7. Organize and participate in meetings with all staff on a regular basis.
  8. Ensures all personnel are trained and developed on an on-going basis.
  9. Updates all training materials as required
  10. Ensures all daily and weekly payroll reports and sign-in sheets are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
  1. Oversees the start of housekeeping shifts in the morning and evening.
  2. Maintain good working relationships with all Departments.
  1. Maintains permanent records of inspections by room number and date.
  2. Ensures maintenance work orders are handled in a timely manner.
  3. Evaluates and revises departmental procedures and job descriptions.
  4. Ensures all security policies and procedures are observed in the department.
  5. Assist in developing and implementing creative concepts of Housekeeping.

 

 Qualifications:

We are looking for a well-organized and creative candidate with excellent communication skills & office knowledge. The candidate should possess:

  1. Computer skills.
  2. Previous housekeeping experience.
  3. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  4. Responsible & reliable.
  5. Work well with fellow colleagues as part of a team.
  6. Maintain focus on guest needs.
