Housekeeping inspectors perform daily inspection of guest rooms, control deep-cleaning projects, reports maintenance work orders, and monitor housekeeper’s work.
Duties
Housekeeping inspectors ensure that the Housekeepers meet all guest room cleanliness and condition standards.
Responsibilities
Inspect rooms daily and grade results, resolving guest complaints, and maintaining guest rooms cleanliness & quality.
Assist in developing and training other housekeeping staff.
Inspect rooms prior to guests arrival and departures to assess cleanliness & damages. Charges for damages may apply.
The housekeeping inspector is the primary contact between housekeepers and other staff members to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
Requirements
Housekeeping inspectors must possess organizational skills and be detail oriented.
Being able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to lift, push up to 50lbs.
Must be able to stand, walk up to 8 hrs. for the shift.
Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and communicate well with others.
Knowledge of computers.
Familiarization with all housekeeping standards and current practices.
